Tristan Silverman

Tristan Silverman began writing poetry in Chicago's legendary slam poetry community and was one of the few genderqueer voices in the city to win several regional awards, amongst them the Gwendolyn Brooks Award for Poetry. Tristan received honorable mention in the Academy of American Poets College Award, is a recent Alum of the Community of Writers at Squaw Valley, and has been published in numerous journals including Boxcar Poetry, decomP, Pedestal Magazine, Up The Staircase Quarterly, and November 3rdClub. You can usually find Tristan and her tiny dog, Mr. Ravioli, in San Francisco roaming one of the various parks.
