James Tracy is the co-author of Hillbilly Nationalists, Urban Race Rebels and Black Power: Community Organizing in Radical Times (Melville House) and the author of Dispatches Against Displacement: Notes From San Francisco's Housing Wars (AK Press). He has edited numerous books for Manic D Press including Avanti Popolo: Italian-Americans Sailing Beyond Columbus and Molotov Mouths: Explosive New Writing. He teaches at City College of San Francisco.
