Shanthi Sekaran lives in Berkeley, California. She has two sons, ages 3 and 8, who describe her as mean, beautiful, the best defender and stinky-butt. She teaches writing and literature at CCA, is a member of the San Francisco Writers' Grotto, and her new novel, Lucky Boy, comes out in January.
