Sarah Rafael García

Sarah Rafael García is a writer, community educator and traveler. Since publishing Las Niñas, she founded Barrio Writers and obtained a M.F.A. in Creative Writing. Most recently, García is a 2016 Macondista and was awarded for Santana's Fairy Tales, which is supported in part by The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, through a grant supporting the Artist-in-Residence initiative at Grand Central Art Center in Santa Ana, California.

Mónica Teresa Ortiz was born and raised in Texas, and is the poetry editor for Raspa, a queer latinx literary & art journal. She also is the co-editor of pariahs, an anthology of writers outside traditional margins. Her work has appeared in Huizache, Bombay Gin, and others.

Dustin Pearson

Dustin Pearson is an MFA candidate at Arizona State University, where he also serves as the editor of Hayden's Ferry Review. He was awarded the 2015 Katharine C. Turner Prize from the Academy of American Poets and is the recipient of fellowships from the Watering Hole and Cave Canem.
